Thank you my friends from the bottom of my heart..There were so many messages that I decided to reply to them in one go and here it is.
Your words, your thoughts , your wishes mean so much to me.You all seem to say the right thing, exactly as I need to hear. It did make me cry but then I am having a tearful day so it’s not a problem. It astounds me that people who I have never met can know how I feel and be able to give me words of comfort that really mean something.
Wow! I am overwhelmed..and it only serves to make me love you even more than I did before. You really are wonderful!
Now for the news.. Neville is coming home on Wednesday, so at least Christmas will not be as lonely as I thought it would be. I intended to find somewhere to stay in Pleven for the three days but it seems the advertised price rises dramatically for the Christmas holiday. Then the doctor said I could stay in the same room as Neville, which would not have been very comfortable but would have ‘made do’.
On Wednesday Karen will drive me to Pleven to collect him and then we shall return to our house and put him into bed. The reason for this is that if the dogs see him they will get so excited that they will jump up to him and do a lot of damage. So until he feels stronger and the dogs are used to him being back home he will be confined to the bedroom. It will only be for a couple of days…
Well at least this is not a post of anger and moaning. You are right ..I do have good reason to feel anger but like you say I am sure it will pass, at least until such time as I find that he has smoked again. I can understand that he will find it hard. It is like a reformed alcoholic, one drink is just one drink too many and it will be the same for the smoking.
I used to smoke until six years ago and then I stopped..just like that..I had cigarettes left in the packet and they stayed there for over six months before I threw them away. Not that I would have smoked them anyway but it was a test of willpower and determination. Now I have to instill that into Neville. Just think of the pleasures to come ..food will taste better…he will not smell..he will be healthier and he will be alive.
And I can stop nagging! That’s gotta be a bonus! also I can now get back to commenting on posts
My love to you all…and thank you once again
love Patrecia and Neville

do you sit on your computer all day..I only pressed the publish button two seconds ago?
YAY!!!! IT is so wonderful he is coming home.
It will be hard for him with the tobacco but he has three things going for him. The length of time he has not had a ciggie, knowing what it leads too if he smokes again and the most important… you!!!!
We are so happy he is going to be home in time for Christmas! YAY!!!! God Bless You All! This will perhaps be the most special Christmas of all? Know we are praying for a complete recovery!
